Holden Price with Troop 85 decided to help out The Parent Child Center’s Kids on the Block program by using his Eagle Scout service project to build a new backdrop for KOB’s puppet shows. KOB reaches thousands of children throughout the Tulsa community each year by presenting skits in elementary schools with child size puppets to teach children what to do if they don’t feel safe and how to get help.
Holden is an 8th grader at St. Pius X Catholic School in Tulsa.
Marla, one of the KOB volunteers for The Parent Child Center was thrilled with the addition, saying “This huge upgrade will make it even easier for the kids to totally focus on the Kids on the Block puppets and the important attention they bring to sensitive topics.”
